Martin K. Behr III is a an international trade and customs attorney licensed to practice  in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, and before the U.S. District Court for New Jersey and the U.S. Court of International Trade. He is also a licensed U.S. Customs Broker, one who has actually worked in the brokerage industry for several years. A distinguished graduate of both the U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and the U.S. Customs Service Academy, Martin is a former U.S. Customs officer (senior inspector and import specialist), and was stationed at land, air and sea ports of entry. While working at the Port of New York/Newark, Martin was a member of the agency's export control branch. Martin is also a former special agent with the U.S. Department of Defense, an assistant prosecutor with the Hudson County (NJ) Prosecutor's Office, and an executive with an FMC-licensed ocean shipping company.

Martin is also an instructor with City University of New York's Baruch College, where he teaches import, export, supply chain, and other international trade courses. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, High Honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from Rutgers University - Newark, NJ; a Master of Public Administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, in NJ; and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law - Newark, NJ. In addition, Martin has received comprehensive import and export program certificates from New York City's Pace University, where he was once an instructor with the school's World Trade Institute. A trade consultant and seminar instructor for Unz & Co, Martin was also a faculty member of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
